Linda Marie Kennedy passed away on Thursday July 2, 2026 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Nevada. Linda was a loving mother, sister, aunt, daughter and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the light of her life.

She was born and raised in Philadelphia and moved to Lake Tahoe where she recently retired after working at Harrah's Resorts for over 25 years where she made many friends.

Family was most important to Linda and her super power was her ability to connect to people. She was funny, warm and generous to a fault. She enjoyed watching classic movies, and rewatching her favorite movie “Harold and Maude.”

She is survived by her son Scott (Sara) and her 5 grandchildren Caleb, Natalie, Ella, Sienna and Giana and by 3 great grandchildren Giavanna, Luca and Becket.

She is also survived by her brothers John, Patrick (Barbara) and Gerald and her sister Catherine, her niece Kayla (Joseph) and nephews Conor, Kyle and Silas.

She is predeceased by her parents Patrick and Patricia Kennedy and her grandson Marcus.
