Carol E. Bevers, 77, of Carson City, Nevada, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Born on November 6, 1948, in Watertown, South Dakota, Carol was the beloved daughter of Earl and Betty (Schiernbeck) Livingston. On September 2, 1966, she married the love of her life, Thomas Orville Bevers. Together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love and family. They were blessed with two daughters, Cherrice Michelle Dotson and Lena Marie Borges.

Carol's greatest joys were her family and teapots. She was never afraid to take a chance, she started three businesses over the course of her life, demonstrating her determination, ambition, and willingness to follow her passions. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother whose kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Betty Livingston.

Carol leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Thomas Bevers; her daughters, Cherrice Dotson of Independence, Oregon, and Lena (Clint) Borges of Carson City, Nevada; and her sister, Beverly (John) Ries of Grove, Oklahoma.

She will be lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren: Matthew Dotson, Brittany (Kody) Munns, Timothy (Christine) Reyes-Dotson, John Borges, Michala Dotson, Jessica Dotson, and Christopher Borges.

Carol was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Ayla Dotson, Mya Fowlkes, Ava Fowlkes, Violet Reyes-Dotson, and Caleb Reyes-Dotson, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

She also leaves behind many beloved extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory and miss her deeply.

Carol's legacy is one of enduring love and selfless devotion to those she held dear. Though her presence will be profoundly missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is at peace in the presence of her Lord. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know and love her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Lena and Clint Borges residence, 1791 Koontz Lane, Carson City, NV 89701.
